Hi, I’m Anna. I was inspired to start making my own candles back in 2016, having noticing common quality issues with scented candles – burning too quickly, a build of up soot around the glass, smoking wicks and often underwhelming fragrances. I only planned to make a few. I thought it would be easy, but soon realised it wasn’t at all! I became hooked on mixing various types of wax, fragrance blends and wick to achieve the perfect burn.

By 2019, after many failed candles and many more hours of testing, I had developed a range of candles with which I was happy, and Wildlight was ready to launch. I remain meticulous about the testing process so every blend burns well and lasts as long as possible – and my customers are delighted every time!

Candles are made using the finest, locally sourced ingredients, all made in the UK. This includes rapeseed wax which burns slowly, has a smooth, creamy texture and is vegan friendly. I also use minimal packaging, with no unnecessary cardboard boxes, plastic or cellophane. Each Wildlight fragrance blend is inspired by nature and the outdoors, and has been selected for quality and authenticity. All fragrances are especially blended for use in candles, by British perfumeries, using a combination of fragrance and essential oils.
